The Caladium FM Joyner, ‘Caladium x hortulanum’, are grown for their long-lasting, colorful foliage, and they are used in borders and beds. This fancy foliaged plant has blush pink leaves with dark red veins and green edges. It is ideal for pots and hanging baskets on the porch or patio. Caladiums also bloom, but the flowers are insignificant and they drain energy from the plant. They should be pinched off as soon as possible. Caladiums need protection from full sun for the best growth and color. All parts of this tropical plant are poisonous, so caution is advised around children.

The Gallery Dahlia start blooming in early summer and produce large amounts of flowers on a well branched plant. Dahlia’s are ideal for cut flowers, borders, containers, and window boxes. They tend to bloom for long periods, and few plants offer as much variety and showy flowers as the Dahlia. They do best in well drained, humus rich soils.
