Geranium – Maverick QuicksilverThe Geranium Maverick Quicksilver, ‘Pelargonium x peltatum’, is an ivy geranium that has beautiful light pink flowers. These ivy geraniums provide a mass of color for your enjoyment all season long. Geraniums are a favorite bedding and container plant and are grown in almost every region of the country. These plants have succulent leaves and stems and they are commonly called garden geraniums, zonal geraniums or ivy geraniums. They are excellent in containers of all types from small pots to large tubs to window boxes and combine well with other plants such as petunias and ivies. Geraniums are one of your best choices for use in hanging baskets. Plant in ordinary well-drained soil. Over fertilization results in excessive foliage and few flowers. Fertilize lightly every 2 weeks. Pinching of the shoots will promote bushiness. Remove spent flowers to enhance flowering.

Fiberstone is a mixture of sand and stones cast into the surface using terrazzo-like techniques. The surface is then sandblasted and chemically treated, followed by an acid stain to give the appearance of aged stone. Since it is reinforced with a fiberglass backing, it remains light-weight and less fragile than concrete.

The large fluffy pink flowers double and white markings run into the petals. ‘Jenny’ is a definite improvement from other Lychnis. The flower is larger, sterile and more refined. ‘Jenny’ has a plant height of 30″ and 18″ spread. The 1 A inch blooms are beautiful and they bloom from May to September. If cut back, they will bloom longer. ‘Jenny’ should be planted in full sun to light shade, but does require moisture and free-draining soil.
