Super Sonic Cherry Cream is a stunning variety and are a vigorously growing New Guinea Impatiens bred and selected for superior landscape performance. They have extra large flowers (up to 3-inches across) and are perfect for large baskets and patio containers. Impatiens rank among the top ten most popular annuals in the United States. This is because they are colorful, dependable plants which bloom steadily all summer. However, their biggest attraction is that they flourish in light shade. New Guinea are more sun-loving than the other impatiens. They will tolerate more sun if their roots are kept moist. This plant can be a perennial in zones 9-11. In zones 3-8 it is an annual only.

The Tulip ‘Golden Apeldoorn’, ‘Tulipa darwin hybrid’, is a fall planted bulb. The Golden Apeldoorn is one of the most well-known tulips around the world! Its huge flowers grow on sturdy stems and the bright golden-yellow color makes this variety especially attractive. It has a black star on a bronzy green base. It is gorgeous when planted in a large grouping. These tulips bloom in mid spring for a 3 week period.For the best effects, plant the bulbs in clusters of 5 to 15 bulbs of one variety, or scatter clusters throughout the garden or flower border. Tulips do best in well-drained soil. It is advisable not to plant tulips in the same location in the garden year after year. If possible, plant in a somewhat sheltered location. These tulips are excellent for warmer climatic zones. Tulips are excellent for mass planting, cut flowers, and borders.

The Caladium Kathleen, ‘Caladium x hortulanum’, is salmon pink with clear pink veins and green margin. Fancy Leafed Caladiums, South American beauties, are very showy foliage plants with bright red, pink, green and white variegated leaves. Pot early indoors with a starting temperature of 70 degrees or more, then plant them, pot and all, outdoors in the shade or semi-shade after spring frosts. Or, plant them in shady window boxes where sun-loving annuals won’t grow. Water well and spray leaves frequently during hot, dry weather. Ideal for shade! Large #1 bulbs are 1-1/2 to 2-1/2″ diameter. Zones 10-11. Elsewhere prior to frost, dig, dry and store bulbs in a cool, dry frost-free place.
